Eloy Rojas Workshop & Shownight

Born in Venezuela, Eloy began his professional dance training in Caracas. Over the years he trained in Cuban salsa, Afro Latin and Caribbean rhythms as well as mambo, ballet, contemporary and ballroom.

After Caracas and Mexico City, Eloy has lived in Berlin since 2016. Today he runs EJR Studio Berlin and travels internationally for workshops and shows. His work combines Cuban movement culture with musicality, technique and individual expression.

At Midnight Havana, Eloy teaches a 90-minute Salsa Cubana Fusion workshop from 19:00 to 20:30. It focuses on rhythm, movement, flow and individual expression, for dancers who want to improve their Cuban salsa technically and also dance it with more musicality and expression.

The party starts at 21:00. Another highlight of the night is a show by Eloy Rojas and his EJR Studio team, followed by animation and social dance with DJ Reza.

There are no regular classes that night. The focus is entirely on the workshop, the show and the salsa night together.
